The Bandicoot Run is a one day tour with an experienced naturalist. The touring itinerary provides for a dual focus on the natural and cultural history of Kangaroo Island.

Highlights include a walk with a guide through a colony of wild Australian sea- lions at Seal Bay Conservation Park. The beach is home to 800 animals and offers a fascinating insight into their unique ecology.

We visit Little Sahara Geological Monument on the South Coast.

Flinders Chase National Park features coastal scenery, (Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch), wilderness and wildlife including kolas and New Zealand fur seals at rugged Cape du Couedic.

Leaving 'the Chase', the tour takes in the rugged north coast of Kangaroo Island. Lathami Conservation Park the home of the endangered glossy black cockatoo, the tammar wallaby, western grey kangaroo, short-beaked echidna and a host of other species including the magnificent wedge tailed eagle.

We leave Lathami in time to view the North Coast beaches before making our way to Kingscote Airport for the return flight to Adelaide.
